Yesterday, The American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis held its grand opening of the new Nelson Cultural Center. Gustavus has a space there, called the Edward and Patricia Lindell Office Suite. The first yearbook was called ‘Manhem’ and it was published in 1904 by the graduating class. The name “Gustavian” appeared for the first time on the 1917 yearbook. Fun Fact: Many of the yearbooks for the first few years of the school were written in Swedish.
