The “Nic” – the Nicollet House, a popular downtown hangout. “Downtown” is reference to the the businesses down the hill in the five blocks of St. Peter that contain the majority of businesses.

P-Ball- Referring to Presidents Ball, the annual semi-formal dance that takes place at a venue in the Twin Cities

The Den- The Gustie Den, commonly used for poster-making and club meetings as well as hanging out and studying.

The Dive- Location of Friday dance parties as well as a game area with air hockey, darts and pool, the Dive was created through the renovation of the old swimming pool, hence the name.

The Canteen – formally housed in the Johnson Student Union from the 1960s to the late 1990s, it was the place for after hours dining as well as for nickle coffee and treats… … it was the forerunner of the Courtyard Cafe.
