This is a 1917 panoramic shot of the campus. Notice the students and teachers milling amongst the buildings. The buildings from left to right are: Johnson Hall (women’s housing), President’s Residence (built by President Matthias Wahlstrom himself, it was called “The White House”), South Hall (originally a women’s dormitory, by now it was a music hall), School of Commerce Building, Old Main, Auditorium, and North Hall (a faculty residence).
This is so neat to have older pictures like these. I can just imagine what Saint Peter looked like in those times nearly 100 years ago. Thanks!
